Stanley was born in Hong Kong in 1947. After working as a geotechnical engineer for over 20 years, he pursued his second career as a painter. His works range from flowers-and-birds, landscape, figures and portraits to abstract. He paints joy, peace and love, yet he condemns sin. He excels in light and depth effects. Four of his paintings were enlarged and cast by the Hong Kong Government on a 92m long X 12m high retaining wall. He has held over 10 solo exhibitions and his art works have been widely reported in both Hong Kong and Vancouver.
