溫哥華著名女畫家蔡杏枝,早年在台北市跟從多位名家研習花鳥,人物,山水等繪畫與書法。1991年來溫哥華後,継續追求進步發展。2003年擧行首次個展花鳥作品深獲好評。同年加入張俊傑教授領導的翰墨雅集,研究山水創作與中西繪畫理論,追求更高境界。蔡杏枝曾名列藝術家名鑑,溫哥華華人傑出女性名鑑。2003年榮獲加拿大中華文化藝術總會之薪傳獎及推行藝術教育有功獎。2005年榮獲溫哥華華人藝術家恊會評審獎及溫哥華全加中華總會館表揚華人優秀婦女獎。2006年榮登台灣全球華人藝術創作年鑑及第三十四屆全日展獲優秀特選獎。2008年入選北美華人百家書畫集。由於賦性善良熱心公益加上畫藝不斷提昇廣護肯定曾任加拿大中華藝術總會會長及溫哥華華夏互助會三任會長。現為翰墨雅集成員,溫哥華華人藝術家恊會永久會員,列治文中國書畫學會委員,加拿大中華文化藝術總會永久顧問。

Joyce Tsai started studying Chinese brush painting and calligraphy in Taipei. She immigrated to Vancouver in1991. She was holding her first solo exhibition in 2003 and the same year she joined Ha Mo Ya Chi Artists Group. In 2003, she received a “Juried Award” and “AN Award Recognition her Dedication and Commitment to the Development of Art Education in Canada” Chinese Culture & Arts Association of Canada. “Juried Award” Chinese Canadian Artists Federation in Vancouver and “Outstanding Female” Chinese Benevolent Association 2006. Her artwork has been published in the ” Works by one hundred North American Chinese painters and calligraphers 2008″. She also the three terms Former President of Mandarin Promotive Association. Former president of Chinese Artists Association of Canada. Now she is a permanent member of CCAFV, board director of Richmond Chinese Calligraphy & painting club in BC, and permanent Consultant of the Chinese Artists Association of Canada.
