自幼便對中國書畫有濃厚興趣。得辛鵬九老師為啟蒙，再拜趙少昂老師門下，對嶺南派花鳥有更深認識。期間又隨書法大師陳荊鴻之得意門生陳夢標老師習書法。在港時及移加後所收之學生，必授其書法及國畫，使中國文化得以傳揚不斷。

Florence was originally from Hong Kong, She immigrated to Canada in 1996. Ms. Mak is a Chinese painting and calligraphy instructor. She studied Chinese painting and calligraphy from Ms. Pang-kau Shum, Mr.Sui-ong Chao (Master of the Lingnan style) and Mr. Mong-biu Chan in Hong Kong.
